KARACHI:
Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Tahirul Qadri said on Sunday
that peace in Karachi would only return when all terror sanctuaries in
Punjab are
uprooted.
Speaking to journalists at Jinnah International Airport after returning from Canada, Dr Qadri said, “Karachi never had any problem of sectarian killings, i
t all came from
Punjab and took over the whole country.”
Dr Qadri also alleged that the ruling party deliberately lost the by-election of Jhang in favour of a banned religious group.
The PAT chief said that
Pakistan is ruled by a royal family and to establish real democracy in the country, strict action should be taken against it immediately.
