Renowned writer, intellectual, actor, direct
or and former Director Radio Pakistan Peshawar, Nisar Muhammad Khan, passed away on Friday after protracted illness.
Khan was suffering from canc
er for the last five years which led to his death.
The deceased was the author of many book
s and he performed as an act
or and directed many Pashto films. A large number of people including artists, writer
s and relatives attended the funeral prayers of Khan which were offered at Shah Mansoor Swabi, his native villag
e, after which he was laid to rest in his ancest
ral graveyard.
